12-18 May is Invasive Species Week, led by the GB Non-native Species Secretariat (NNSS), part of APHA. This annual week of events and activities is held to raise awareness of invasive non-native species and how we can all help prevent their spread. It is also an opportunity to highlight the work many organisations are doing all year round.
In August 2024, our National Bee Unit invited participants from Ghana for a week-long intensive training on honeybee health, husbandry and honey production in the UK.
