Review of APHA science 2015

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Science strategy

One of the Agency’s key performance indicators is for the APHA Science Advisory Board (SAB) to provide an assurance statement on the quality of the science that we carry out.

An earlier blog shared a story about how SAB did this for 2015/16 and also covered their wider role in providing external challenge and independent and objective advice on the quality and relevance of our science.

To help SAB in this role we produced an APHA Annual Science Review 2015 which brings together the many highlights and achievements for each of our science portfolios over the course of last year. The Review contains a wide range of interesting science and we thought it would be a good idea to make it available to a wider audience  – and so with a little tweaking we’re now able to share it with you.

It’s quite a weighty document and written very much for a science audience, but we hope you find it interesting. If you have any queries or want to know more about any of the items covered then please feel free to get in touch.
