Like last year we have produced an APHA Annual Science Review, which brings together the many highlights and achievements during 2016.
It’s structured around our science portfolios and key disciplines and covers a wide range of interesting science.
The main purpose of the review is to provide the APHA Science Advisory Board (made up of independent eminent scientists) with an overview of our science.
It supplements their programme of quarterly meetings that take an in depth look at specific topics; and helps them provide an annual assessment of the quality of our science.
Like last year we thought that it would be a good idea to share the review with a much wider audience via this blog.
The review is written for a scientific audience but we hope you find it interesting whether you’re a working scientist or just have a general interest in science. If you have any queries or want to know more about any of the items covered then please feel free to get in touch.
